"If you like overcooked seafood in a busy, noisy mall setting where you'll wait at least a half hour to be served, go to the Legal Seafoods at the Burlington Mall. The food and atmosphere were similar to the food court, except service at the food court would have been quicker. Our waiter did seem to care, but blamed the kitchen for running a half hour late. When the food came out it was bland and burnt. The table next to us had to wait over an hour for their food. When the manager came to talk to them, she detailed the times the orders were placed, rather than try to make them happy. Perhaps there's a sucker born every minute, but Legal isn't trying to build repeat customers in Burlington. " - GL posted Thursday, March 31, 2005

"Had dinner at Legal Seafood which should be renamed ill-legal seafood" as my wife got food poisoning. While the wait staff was friendly, and the food was tasty if a bit over cooked, it was hearing her sick all night in the bathroom that added a special ambience to the evening." - jj posted Tuesday, June 1, 2004

"These restaurants once were cutting edge and fun. Today, the preparations are tired and old-fashioned -- there's very little creativity (their cookbook, which they are still selling, came out in 1988 -- too many new and exciting preparation ideas have happened in the past 14 years to be ignored in your menu). The food is fresh but sometimes bland and boring, and the service is sometimes impersonal. Becoming a chain has hurt them." - FL posted Thursday, July 11, 2002
