"Way too over-rated, from what I've just read! The food is mediocre, the service is blah, and the atmosphere is just about the only thing going for them, considering their food tastes just like any other wanna-be "meditteranean" restaurant, if you even want to call it that! Take some words of advice from a Pasadena Native who sees a lot of restaurants come and go... the only thing that pays their rent and keeps them going is the fact that the "tourists" that wrote about it keep going there. Do us all a favor...get some taste buds!" - JED

"Excellent mediterranian cuisine in a fun atmosphere. Gets very busy Fri & Sat. A tad expensive, but the food is well worth the $$. Downstairs they usually have ethnic music (spanish, etc.) in a very festive atmosphere. Have dinner and the $8-10 cover charge is waived (I believe). I Highly recommend this restaurant! It was recommended to us by a friend who loved it as well and we have now been back 3-4 times. This is an unpaid, unsolicited opinion (I wonder about some of these) ML 8/99" - ml
