Make sure to visit." - cn posted Thursday, March 31, 2005 "This restaurant bills itself as "improvisational" cooking, but it's really nothing new -- just a fancy version of the make-your-own-stirfry bars found in many cafeterias and supermarkets. You pick out your ingredients, put them in a bowl, select a sauce, and give it to one of the cooks at the grill. Then, the waiters bring you your meal when it's finished. The selection of ingredients is OK, and the sauces are tasty, but in the end this restaurant only serves one thing: stirfry. Booo-ring. I've never liked the concept of "make-your-own." I'm not a chef. When I go to a restaurant I want to be SERVED a meal created by a PROFESSIONAL. If I want to "make my own," I'll stay at home." - MT posted Thursday, March 31, 2005
"I've been to great Mongolian grill restaurants before, and Fire & Ice just doesn't measure up. The veggie and meat selections are impressive, but I didn't find the sauces to be very tasty, and the music is LOUD!
