"Dear LV and BK: Go and try some REAL Mexican Food! Baja is "Americanized Mexican" for those too concerned with their California Diets. It's fine for those who enjoy the simple things. Do me a favor...try Rosarito by In-N-Out, or Los Tacos by Huntington Memorial - they are small "hole-in-the-walls", but they are family-owned and operated, not franchised!" - JED posted Friday, October 22, 2004
"Baja Fresh Mexican Grill has gone downhill since being bought out by Wendy's in 2002. Smaller Portions, higher prices, and dirty floors, and only one trash can in the restaurant, that was overflowing with trash when I tried to bus my own table. My last visit in May, 2004 will be my last visit." - rpj posted Friday, May 21, 2004
"If you like bones in your boneless chicken breast--this is the place for you. Baja Fresh is horrible. The staff at every location I have ever been to have been rude-where do they find these people? Prison? The food will never be what Rubio's and WaHOOs can offer." - bsm posted Tuesday, June 11, 2002
"I agreed with JED, screw that California mexican crap. Yuppie food!" - DEJ posted Wednesday, February 7, 2001
"Pretty good burritos, but somewhat pricy for lots of tortilla. Whatever you do, don't fall for the enchilada style upgrade on the burritos. What a rip-off! Over $1.50 more for extra sauce on the burrito and cheese on the chips. You can enchilada style the burrito yourself at the salsa bar for no extra charge. " - SE posted Wednesday, August 2, 2000
"Burritos, tacos and other Mexican food--but fresh, grilled, very light fare. Not the old tired stuff, fresh California style entrees. Great fresh salsas. Great for lunch!" - BK posted
" This is really the best Mexican Food around. They pride themselves on having no freezers, can openers, etc...that everything is made fresh each day. Try the baja burrito with steak or the soft tacos. Only thing that would make this restaurant better is if they made fresh tortillas and served dessert." - LV posted
