"The best casual dining experience ever! I had the pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and my husband had a pizza that was actually three different types of pizza. Both meals were delicious. We started with crabcakes and they were very good and sort of spicey. My husband's margurita was potent and well mixed. I ordered wine with my dish and the have a decent wine selection, with very reasonable prices. We were too full for dessert, but ended our meal with esspressoes. The service was great and our entire order was about the price of two entrees in comparable restaurants. Delicious food & drink, great service and low prices......what else could you ask for?!" - NJBB

"A mediocrity. The food is edible but uninspired. For the many would be yuppy bank tellers on south Lake this may be interesting. For anyone with a bit of sophistication it is a paint by the numbers, eat it and beat it establishment for those in a hurry. Inside is cramped and noisy, outside is cramped and too close to the sidewalk. The staff seems unhappy and my general sense is that the clientele is more preoccupied with posturing than dining. If you must be seen here, go ahead, if you want a fine dining experience, try elsewhere." - mrc

"I've been to this location 2 or 3 times. We had to wait to be seated, wait to order, wait for our food. All I wanted was a quick lunch. The pasta is good but heavy on oil. Too pricey for lunch." - jw

"Various pastas, sandwiches, and other California cuisine. Always very busy, so make sure you have a reservation. Patio is nice in the summer." - BK

"My sister and brother-in-law brought me here while I was visiting from Pennsylvania. I had a portobello mushroom sandwich that absolutely wonderful -- both presentation and flavor. I can't remember the salad I had, but it was delicious. My brother-in-law ordered wine from the manager's list, which I think you have to know to ask for; the wine was excellent. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The next night they took me to the Parkway Grill, which was nice, but I found the atmosphere at the Crocodile Cafe much more relaxing." - JH
