"Absolutely Amazing. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant I felt welcome, the friendly front desk will seat you as quickly as possible, and the the excellent servers do just about everything except hand feed you. Although Parking can be difficult at times, the reward of the delicious food is well worth any extra effort or money. I love that it has been a Pasadena tradition for so many years and still will be for many to come." - BM

"Killer salads and zucchini bread to die for." - KS

"The address is 146 South Shoppers Lane...that might make it easier to find." - cr

"Do they sell their recipe for Zucchini Bread? I remember eating there as a poor colleges student in the 1979-80 and later on during the 1980's and that bread was soooo great. And now, in Kansas, I find myself wishing for a) the recipe (to use up all the zucchini we get from friends) and/or b) having the restaurant cloned out here in the midwest... I don't remember Dianne Salads or much of anything else. Seems like we went there for breakfast a few times and they had wonderful omelets." - jb

"Used to be an excellent restaurant with fresh and "different" menu choices. We always went back for the Macky Salad with roasted garlic dressing. About 2 years ago, we noticed the quality and service declining. Our trips became less frequent, and each time, the food strayed farther from what made the restaurant so great. For the salads; tired greens, chicken breast that seemed to have been cooked a few days before (read rubber and tasteless). There are moments when I crave the Macky and the Dianne salads, then my memory snaps me out of it and we go to Taratinos" - rl

"I've been eating at this restaurant since it was just a tiny shack on Green Street, before moving to its current location. I think their omelets are still their best; their salads tend to have too much lettuce and not enough meat (Diane salad), but I have been happy with their sandwiches. Their motto used to be (and I think it still is): If there is something you want to eat but it's not on the menu, just ask, and if we have the ingredients, we'll make it for you. Not many places like that around any more. Always a great place for a Saturday or Sunday brunch." - cn

"I love the salads but order half if you don't like lot of lettuce. The zuchini bread's great too. Menu seems to be dimishing though. Wish they had free parking." - jw

"We drive here from Santa Barbara. The food is excellent and the selections are broad enough to please my husband, my kids and my 82 year old mom. This is a terrific restaurant in a very comfortable setting - although a little difficult to find to the first time visitor." - wb
