"A friend invited me to watch the Lakers play-off game last week at the Hamlet in Brentwood. I was very impressed with the service we got. It was very busy in the bar area, yet our waiter was available for anything we needed, often bringing us things before we asked. Great place!" - bls

"A nice blend of affordable, casual and upscale. It's a good place to take your parents without being too extravagant. Their menu has a wide variety of American items but dabbles into Chinese, Mexican and Italian among others. The food is served in adequate portions and is generally quite tastey. A bonus is it's open late." - KI
