"Not as happening as it used to be. Great place to watch the world go by, especially in nice weather. Brunch is good, as are the appetizers. Drinks tasty as well. A place to be seen, can get crowded at night and on weekends." - kk posted Tuesday, October 22, 2002
"Great exciting restaurant. Lots of atmosphere, great martinis and food to boot! " - JS posted Tuesday, August 1, 2000
"Food was nicely presented and cooked to our liking. The best part was the people watching and included some very interesting characters & personalities. Great for something different in couples dining, first date or night on the town." - MSL posted Monday, May 1, 2000
"Went to Sonsie on a trip to Boston for our anniversary on a Monday night. Welcomed by a very supercilious front man (with a ludicrous mustache) who proceeded to seat us right next to the waiters station although the restaurant was half empty all the while looking at us disdainfully. Food was pretty poor- soggy undercooked spring rolls to start and chicken that was so dry I've had better on an airplane. I asked for a dry white wine and was charged $9 a glass for a mediocre wine. I found the place totally overrated with an arrogant atmosphere - especially from the front of house man who was more interested in flirting with his staff than making sure his customers were happy. We retired to the Bristol Lounge in the Four Seasons where we were treated extremely well and thus redeemed an otherwise disappointing night." - jmcg posted Saturday, March 4, 2000
