"Pretty much a Tribeca landmark, and right down the street from Nobu, Bubby's manages to hold its own as a neighborhood favorite. Brunch is a zoo, so make sure you're early or willing to wait for over and hour for a table. The dining area's cozy up front, bland in the back, but the atmosphere is what definitely sells the place. As for food, try the "Loco" soda to start out- lime flavored with a hint of red pepper. Any of the brunch items are solid, but the pie (what put Bubby's on the map) is still the best thing going. Avoid the bloody marys as well as the expensive side order of sausage. Come for the wannabe watching and some solid food on the weekend." - tk
