"We really liked the garbage can combo at Robin's BBQ. It was lots of BBQ on a garbage can lid & it was excellent. Fair prices, friendly waiter and a real cool atmosphere will bring us back again. Thanks." - P.S.

"We think that Robin's has the best ribs in Los Angeles. The sauces are great, the meats are tender and well smoked and they treat you like your part of their family." - c.d.

"We really enjoyed the baby back ribs at Robin's. They were tender and pleasantly smoked. The mad dog sauce was just spicy enough without being too hot. " - D.S.

"The BBQ is as delicious as the smoke you smell outside as you are walking into the restaurant. Great quality meat, not fatty and the baby-back ribs are mouthwatering with fall of the bone meat. I highly recommend this place for people who really like and know their BBQ joints." - AM

"The legendary "BBQ JOINT" lived up to all it hype. We were very impressed with the quick service, great background music(oldies) and definately the baby back ribs & tri-tip. The sides were exceptional, especially the bluecheese-pecan cole slaw & the wild Maine blueberry cornbread. All in all, a great meal experience and we will return." - B.M.

"Wow, The 2 times I have been with my husband we have had exceptional food and exceptional service. Even the Manager made sure we were happy. I cannot wait to take my friends and family when they come to visit. Try the Garlic Mushrooms as an appetizer! All styles of BBQ are different, try all the sauces to find one just right for your palate. Worth a shot!!" - CVA

"The food & service has really improved over the past few years. We hadn't been there in quite a while. Our server Christopher was attentive, quick & very personable. He was training someone the night we were dining & still made sure we were well taken care of. Quite an improvement. We'll visit Robin's more often now." - B.B.

"Real deal BBQ here. When you can smell the hickory smoke in the parking lot you know it's going to be great BBQ. I like the baby back ribs & the Garbage can combo. The meat falls right off the bone. I also like the fact that they offer 4 different kinds of BBQ sauce. This place should be on your BBQ map." - MT

"We like this place. We also like Tony Roma's on So. Lake but Robin's has a real barbeque feel to it. The free peanuts, red checked table clothes, the music, it's all good. The tri-tip is also very good. We eat out often and generally have barbeque once a week. We would rate Robin's in the top 2-3 rib joints in Los Angeles. By the way, if your in the Crenshaw/Leimert Park area, try Phillip's BBQ. As good as Robin's but it's take-out only. We eat it in the car." - JH

"Great BBQ, great look, great music. Often visit after going to the movies next door. I watched this restaurant evolve from a cheap coffee shop to an upscale family restaurant and to a cool family BBQ joint. They're very innovative. My favorites are the baby back ribs, the onion rings and all the regional BBQ sauces. They really got there act together." - HB

"We could smell the wonderful smokey BBQ next door at the Pacific Theatre and it yanked us in. Hadn't been there since it was a coffee shop. It's like a nostalgic musuem with all the old signs & stuff. Great 60's music. A real "Q" joint. Service was good, food was even better. Baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender, the sausage was hot, but not to hot, the blue-cheese pecan cole slaw was excellent as was the blueberry corn bread muffins. We'll happily return." - MJ

"My husband and I went looking for some great BBQ and were disappointed in the quality of the food and service. It looked like there were regulars as some were greeted as they came in but we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The BBQ ribs and chicken were not cooked and the side dishes were not too appealing. Too bad, since we figured it would be good BBQ, but found out it wasn't for us." - BD

"What a cool place with great food! The decor, the ambiance and the outside patio are great! My family has tried everything on the menu and our favorites are the mesquite grilled Baby Back ribs with all the BBQ sauces, the tri-tip sandwiches and the pizzas. The breakfast on the weekends are a Pasadena tradition as Best Breakfast place for many years. The jerk omelettes and the pancakes are my favorites. Robin's is family oriented with balloons and crayons for kids. After dinner, we usually go next door for a movie at the Pacific Hastings. Free parking too!" - mv

"Looks like a chain, taste like a chain with large portions. We had to wait to seated because the waiter & waitress were too busy talking to each other to give any customer's service." - jw
