But do they actually take real reservations? I was told over the phone that they only take reservations on Fri, Sat and Sun but only for 6 or more. When I arrived, there was a table for 4 reserved...what's the deal?? Other than seating arrangements, their food has me hooked!!!!!!!!! We had been making the half hour drive from our home for the last seven years. Having lived in Panama for over 16 years, it was a favorite restaraunt for us. The new location is terrible, we were treated rudely, After waiting a half hour, our reservations, made hours in advance, were not honored. They gave the table to someone who had just walked in. The "hostess" was snotty, and we left without ever being seated.We will never go back. Everything we loved about the old location is gone. "One of my all time favorite places to eat. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere always pleasant. Chef Gallo is delightful. Good wine. Empanadas are extremely good & very inexpensive. Don't skip desert.
