REVIEWS "Sisley is in a different category than the Cheesecake Factory. They specialize in on Italian food and the result is exceptional. Sisley is by far the best Italian restaurant in the Conjeo Valley, focus specifically on delivering the best Italian cuisine. The service could be more sophisticated, but that is difficult to find any where other than Beverly Hills, etc." - LNF posted Monday, June 13, 2005 "This is by far the worst restauant in Thousand Oaks. Do yourself a favor and wait the hour or so to get in to the Cheescake Factory rather than visit this pest hole. I have never been treated so rudely by a "waiter" in any restaurant in any country in the world ever. The fool took everyone's order at our table and didn't even acknowlege that I was there. I needed to call him back to take my order and he was hostile even at that point. Then, he brought everyone's food except of course, mine. He went back to the kitchen to place my order and 20 minutes later, when it still hadn't arrived, I went to the manager to see if we could maybe just maybe I might be able to eat some time before my family went home. The manager took the price of my meal off the bill and from then on, it was all out war between Shawn and me. He brought out containers for the left-overs and handed everyone theirs except of course, me. He just threw it down and let me reach accross the table for it. Then on ordering dessert, mine was clearly half the size of the exact same dessert my son ordered. When we paid the bill, I left him a very appropriate tip - about 7% or so - more than he deserved by far. They ADDED $10 to our Amex bill without our permission.STAY AWAY FROM THIS DIVE - IT IS THE MOST HORRENDOUS EXCUSE FOR A RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER SEEN." - JMA posted Tuesday, June 22, 2004 "Excellent food, very attentive service, no wait. The portions are very large, I couldn't manage all my entree. They don't have a written dessert menu, but bring a tray of desserts to your table so you can see the choice. Directly across from there is Sisley. Food is excellent and the long breadsticks are wonderful. Large portions and their Chopped Salad with Salami is one of the best.
