"This is quite possibly the best italian restaurant in the entire SGV, and as any native pasadenian knows, there are many italian restaurants to choose from in the area. It is managed by a very sweet woman named Linda Mitchell, who is always willing to deviate from the menu to satisfy individual requests. For example, my father and I used to absolutely love the Conchiglia Alla "D", but due to misleading information in the menu that it was a light dish, it got many complaints and was discontinued. We were very disappointed by this, because we loved the artichoke garlic cream sauce, but upon inquiry, she kindly offered to have her chef make the sauce and put it on another type of pasta. That my friends, is service! In addition to this, the ambiance is very warm and romantic, and is heightened by the amazing Travis Warren on the piano Thurs-Sat. nights. From pizza to Osso Buco, I haven't had a dish that I haven't enjoyed. Moderate-upscale dishes and prices, but worth every penny. Two thumbs way up!" - RJ
