"This North End Restaurant positions itself just right - between the old-fashioned Mom and Pop Italians restaurants of the North End and the new up-scale fern bar/hangin plants cutsies. The walls are painted with murals of Italy, the white tableclothes, the greeting by the owner (who incidentally was a waiter from Italy who won the lottery and opened his own place) all adds to the lovely ambience. We has Veal Parmigiana ( our measuring stcik) and Seafood Ravioli. The Veal was tender - no chewy thing - scallopioned perfectly, covered with a fresh tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheese to keep from feeling like a blimp afterward. The Ravioli were in the shape of a fish and covered with a cream sauce with a slight tomato hint to make it salmon colorthat was to die for. The ravioli were filled with pieces of crab, lobster and fish. All in all, it was a perfect evening as our host guided us to an open window table and were we could enjoy the street scene outside. 4 stars." -
