REVIEWS "It has a great atmosphere. It's very warm and welcoming. When ever I go it's not that busy so I get great service. They are very sweet and attentive. Also the food is great. Although I must confess that some dishes have an extra zing to it--making it more classy than the dishes you'll get at the outdoor stalls in Malaysia. The prices are reasonable, dishes large, and the drink list is fabulous. Real malaysian food in El Monte cooked by a mother and served by her kids and raved by Merrill Shindler from The Pasadena Star News, better than Saladang in Pasadena. To get an impression of our taste, let's say we like Saladang, Sushi of Naples, Parkway Grill for its great food and service, Yujean Kang for its modern Chinese food with a great touch of France, (a bit greasy and expensive at nights for some) and nothing in the old town pas, no mexican in the entire LA area, no Indian yet and definitely no Persian. Needless to say there are some marginal exceptions in the above statement for some hit and miss places." - MOH posted
