REVIEWS "Terrible!!! Worst pasta ever - when my husband asked the server where the chicken he ordered with his pasta was, she said, "we get asked that a lot, it's actually shredded". By this point half of our entress were lukewarm. Manager unresponsive to complaints." - jsh posted Wednesday, October 9, 2002 "August 7, 2002 Strike 1! This was my third lunchtime visit to Palomino's. I have found the food to be delicious on the past two occasions. Today, it was good but not great. It seemed to have been put together more hastily than the time we waited for it (over twenty minutes for salmon sandwiches). The staff is very friendly and normally attentive but it seemed like our waitress was either short staffed with a backup person or just not quite as good as the waitress we had twice before. We also were seated towards the back of the restaurant on the way to the restrooms even though we were there at 11:45. The clincher was that a large table of 8 or 9 men with one woman were getting extraordinary service. They came in after us and ordered appetizers, which they received and finished before we ever had our sandwiches. The waitress apologized that it took so long for the sandwiches and that it must have taken longer because we asked for the salmon to be cooked medium well. (It doesn't take that long to cook salmon on a hot grill and certainly not much longer to take it from medium to medium well.) The salmon dishes are normally great here but needless to say, we were very disappointed with the service today. During the two other busy lunchtime visits, they still managed to provide excellent service. We definitely felt a bit forgotten in the back corner. I will return but I'm not as generous with my strikes as baseball -- they only get two and then they are out." - BEB posted Wednesday, August 7, 2002
