"Southern food, jazz and World Famous Barbecue. The barbecue is slow cooked over mesquite and hickory logs for 10 hours. Continuous dining from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. They serve Jamaican, Caribbean and vegetarian cuisine, all at very affordable prices. Fabulous food, soulful and Caribbean flavor, live music, all in the romantic atmosphere of MoBay Uptown, located at 17 West 125th Street, between 5th Avenue and Lenox Avenue. MoBay Uptown is a short taxi cab ride or take train, No. 2,3,4,5 or 6 to 125 th Street. MoBay Uptown is the Manhattan extension of MoBay's on DeKalb in Brooklyn, which has been very favorably reviewed by Zagat's, Timeout, was rated one of the top Restaurants in New York by the Village Voice and has been featured on Taste of New York. The Curried Coconut Salmon is divine, as is the Escovitched Snapper. The appetizer platter for two containing Jerked Chicken Wings, Barbecued Cicken, Codfish Cakes, Catfish Strips and Sweet Plaintains is an adventure in tropical delights. The desserts are special with, the standout Rummy Rum Cake receiving a 4 star rating from the New York Times. " - ce posted Monday, August 11, 2003
