I tried to contact customer service via the website (there isn't any other contact information available) and never received a response. Lesson learned- put everything on your credit card. If there's a problem later, dispute the charge." - mef posted Monday, December 12, 2005 "I purchased a yellow cake with raspberry filling, with white and chocolate icing. An hour later I was home -- I cut and served the cake. The yellow cake was stale, the raspberry filling was "fermented" and tasted like alcohol, and the icing was sour. The cake was completely inedible, and was discarded.I spent almost $20 that night at Zaro's -- I purchased the cake and a small bottle of soda. For NYC, and the quality of product that I'm accustomed to getting at Zaro's, that's not alot of money. However, for a stale inedible cake, it is. As I stated before, I've been a happy and satisfied customer of Zaro's for years.
