"Excellent Italian food. Good portion size. Very nice and elegant atmosphere -- probably not a good place for small children. Good, efficient service. A little pricey." - PGH

"Pizza is the best in the county. Relaxed, homey atmosphere. Good sandwhiches, breads and deli. " - GP

"If you want beautiful atmosphere with attention to detail and the finest ingredients, try Bauducco's in Moorpark. Owned by the same beautiful people who opened the Westlake restaurant, this is an experience entirely worth driving for. With chandeliers and tapestries imported from Italy, the ambiance is like that of a Venitian Palace. I grew up with a Cicilian grandmother and I consider myself a spoiled rotten grandaughter of authentic Italian quisine...much of the reson I avoid "Italian" restaurants. This experience brought me back to the days of my grandmother's exquisite cooking with imported and home grown ingredients. What a classy place! Mr and Mrs B have invested their hearts and souls into this place and it shows. Aside from the beauty and good food, I felt as though I was part of the family." - rcm

"Great restaurant! Fine food for a resonable price. Also a great lunch buffet with a nice selection. I am talking about the establishment located in Moorpark. Very elegant. Service is second to none" - klr

"Succinctly put, I absolutely ADORE Bauducco's Italian Delicatessen. It prominently features items from Southern Italy, a region generally maligned by the garden-variety SoCal parvenus. Expensive? No more so than the chi-chi, "echt-Italian" hash houses in the area. Don't expect $17K wood-fired ovens. DO expect traditional offerings. Go, if only to purchase some Locatelli, sfogliatelle, or caponata...and if you know what these are, I'm assured you'll enjoy the establishment." - AIB

"Bauducco's is a long-time Westlake Village institution but my husband and I are split over the quality of the food--he likes it whereas I am not overly impressed, especially since there are so many very good Italian restaurants in the area. I think the food is expensive considering that the portions aren't too generous. It's a casual restaurant where you place your order and pay the cashier at the counter, seat yourself, and then the wait staff brings the food to your table. The service is not the quickest. We go for the convenience more than anything as it is close to our house and usually not crowded. It is popular with families. I wonder if the review that says this restaurant is "elegant" mistook Bauducco's for Bocaccio's, another Westlake Village restaurant on the lake that does have an elegant setting." - CK
