"The Teppan is good here. Please use caution when eating the sushi. I myself have gotten very sick eating the sushi here. " - BC

"This place is way good for sushi. I'm a huge sushi fan, and I always drove past Cho Cho San thinking it was a dump. When friends made me go there, they had a huge menu of special rolls. Their spicy sauce is the best. Fish is very good too. If you want a sushi place to taste the flavor of top of the line fish, don't go here. If you like fresh fish with lots of flavor, then this is the place for you. " - IR

"The food here is good, not great. Lunch is a really good deal here though. I've been there twice. The service was so-so the last time, but decent the first time. It's worth checking out if you're in the area." - CJM

"Pretty good sushi. The amaebi (sweet shrimp) is really good. I've always had a good time there." - MM

"We love Cho Cho San and are at the sushi bar almost once a week! The Spanish mackerel special is the best, ask how fresh it is. If it is "very fresh" it makes the perfect ending piece. The Michael "JoJo" hand roll, with eel, avocado, and tuna is excellent. The sushi chefs are willing to accomodate food allergies (like mine to shrimp) and make substitutions upon request. It is hard to get side orders or beverage service if you don't request it when you first sit down, but the food is great!" - dm

"I found the food from the restaurant menu (not teppan) to be mediocre. I order chicken teriyaki and it appeared it had been boiled, pan-fried, and then had a teriyaki sauce on top. The potsticker came with a dash of ketchup on it, an item I wouldn't expect in Japanese cuisine. The sushi that I ordered seemed better than the restaurant food. " - CK

"The food is average...not the best I've had. I think people go there more for the entertainment value, which is, I must admit, very entertaining." - rss
