"I don't know what restaurant some of these people went to but cheez whiz come on. The beef mousse, as the waiter explained to me, is great. Some of these sophisticated people who have critiqued Le Rendezvous can not even spell or use proper punctuation yet they appear to know good food. They're crazy. I'm 23 years old and dine out at least 3-4 times a week. In the tri-county area i find it to be one of the best and reasonable places to eat. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is very romantic and the food is superb. MOJ is right when he said they must eat at McDonalds. There you can spend ten dollars instead and really impress those trailer park women. " - RBC

"What a great restaurant! Excellent food and service. The best that I have had in a long time. We need more like this in our area. Also, in my opinion, Cafe Provencal's food has gone way down hill." - tth

"Always wanted to try this restaurant. Our waiter was nice to begin with but became arrogant rude as the evening went on. He even questioned our giving him 15% instead of 20%!!! Should have left NOTHING. The appetizers were weird and the meal was very disappointing! Very bland. Needs to update decor and could use a new chef!" - pdy

"JRE & SPW must be frequent diners at Mcdonalds. I often dine at Le Rendez-Vous and have always had an excellent experience. The food is great and the wine selection is faboulous." - MOJ

"The food was awful, overly salty and the Marsala wine sauce was like gelatinous goo. The only good thing was the sorbet served between corses. This place hasn't been redecorated since the early 70's, it's dark and stale smelling. I won't be returning." - EH

"I still laugh at my Birthday Experience at Le Rendezvous! Four of us were seated in the middle of the room, romantic couples on the perieter, here came the appitizers -they were like ritz crackers with cheeze-whiz on them -I think there were 3 on a small tea saucer placed on the middle of the table for the four of us. The waitress came back and I swear she asked us if we'd care for more morsels and tidbits! then she squeezed the can of cheeze-whiz onto another cracker and sprinkled bacon bits on it. I think the bill was $75.00 for the four of us." - SPW

"Last Saturday our company had its Holiday dinner at Le Rendezvous. There were about 70 of us. The appetizer plate was set on each table. It consisted of four thin 1/4 slices of tomato with half an olive on top, a mound of what tated very much like Deviled Ham and 6 Ritz crackers. Each table was set for 6 people. The entrees were Chicken with Orange Sauce (Rubbery), Filet of Beef (3 thin scaloppini) slices of what appeared to be Butt of Tenderloin (the tendon part) with a sauce, and Salmon with the same sauce as the BEEF! The dessert was frozen puff's with ice cream inside. Oh, and the salad was supposed to be a Caeser but some of them had dressing and others did not. Mine had one crouton. This at a cost of $40 per head. I'm sorry but this is a 'wanna be good' resturant. " - jre

"30 years ago my parents loved this place. it was very good. The owners loved their customers so much trhat they would put the name sof frequent clients on the back of the bar chairs. It was fun and good food. I went there a few years back, for the memories. They had a duck special on the menu 'Suculent roast duck with ...' I LOVE duck. So what it was $20.00! When it came I was shocked! There lay a leg and thigh! I asked where the rest of the duck was and they told me "that's it". I run a catering and private chef service.....and that was the biggest ripoff I have seen, in what used to be a good resturant. I have never been back." - jre

"Arrogant, lousy wine list, and entrees taste like Swanson frozen dinners!" - JKW

"I don't know what region Rendezvous represents if any. Their service is fine. Cafe Provencal's food is much better." - RMB
