Fresh Packs™ are the pouches we use to seal in the flavor and freshness of our meal components. The pouches are similar to those used in “sous-vide” cooking, a classic French culinary technique. Fresh Packs™ can be placed in boiling water, which heats food more evenly and thoroughly than traditional microwave heating. They also keep food fresher longer and help reduce food and packaging waste. Our Fresh Packs™ are 100% food safe, BPA- and phthalate-free, and do not leach chemicals of any kind into your food.
Absolutely! You can swap any protein or side, allowing you to create boundless meal selections from a set of options that fit your specific dietary requirements. The Menu page on our website features amazing Chef Picks meals, which is a great place to start personalizing. These meals are also grouped by dietary category, including Under 500 Calories, High Protein, Carb-Conscious, and Vegetarian.
If we ever make errors in our shipments, please contact our Customer Experience Team at email@example.com as soon as possible so that we can help sort things out quickly.
We stand by the quality of our food and our ingredients, and we also realize that every individual has a unique taste palate and may not care for our all of our meals. We cannot issue refunds for food that does not suit your personal taste, but if something is just not right with your order, please contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can help sort out the issue with your meal.
Your meals will stay farm-fresh for up to a week, but you can always check their best-by date insert in your box. If you are unable to finish your meals by then, you can store them safely in the freezer for later enjoyment.
Your meals are prepared fresh in a certified kitchen. They are packed with frozen, reusable gel packs to keep them just-made fresh all the way from our kitchen to your house. On the off chance your box arrives with fully-thawed ice packs or the food doesn’t feel cold to the touch, please take a photo of the gel packs and food and send it with your order number to email@example.com. We’ll take care of you from there!
Yes. Our meals are designed to be eaten fresh, but you can freeze them in the Fresh Packs™ if you can’t eat them by the best-by date. It’s a great way to reduce food waste! When you are ready to enjoy, simply thaw fully, and follow the heating instructions provided.
Yes. While we recommend boiling the Fresh Packs™ to heat your meals for best and most consistent results, you can also remove the food from the pouches and plate it before warming it in the microwave. We include suggested microwave timing instructions on each meal pack.
Our meals are designed as single servings. To learn more about any meal or meal component on our menu, click on its image on the Menu page for a full nutritional breakdown including the total weight (in grams) of each meal. And if you ever want more, we offer a variety of add-ons that include vegetables and sides as well as breakfasts and snacks, too!
Our food has no artificial ingredients, binders, fillers or added artificial preservatives and is as seasonal as possible. Some of our ingredients are organic, and even come from local sources near our kitchen in the Finger Lakes agricultural region of New York.
Since supporting other small businesses and reducing environmental impact are core values of RealEats, we source as much as possible from independent farmers and food companies local to our kitchen in the Finger Lakes agricultural region of New York.
Our meals are made with high-quality, real ingredients, but ultimately YOU are the best expert on what will work for your body. We provide you with all the information you will need about each meal’s ingredients and nutritional information on the Menu page on our website so that you can be sure you are selecting what will work for you. We take all precautions to limit cross-contamination, but our meals are manufactured in a facility that uses egg, tree nuts, milk, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat.
We prepare and fully cook our meals to perfection. All that’s left for you to do is heat and enjoy.

Glad you asked! We are a weekly food delivery service that gives you complete control over your plan. We’ve made it real flexible when it comes to managing your account, and you can skip deliveries up to 8 weeks in advance. We won’t ship you meals if you have turned the next delivery week “off” before 11:59p ET on Thursdays, and we’ll send you weekly reminders to keep your memory fresh.
We offer a selection of meal plans starting at four, individually-portioned meals per week. We also offer weekly plans of six, eight, and twelve meals. In addition, we give you the option to customize your meals by swapping meal components and also adding individual proteins, vegetables, and sides. To accommodate your needs as they shift over time, you can change your meal plan size directly within your cart while selecting meals or on your account page at any time.

While you’re waiting, you can always check out your account page and make meal selections for up to the next 8 weeks. If you change your mind about something, no problem! As long as it’s before 11:59p ET on Thursday for the upcoming week, you can update your order as many times as you want. Great question! As long as the delivery week is turned to the “off” position on your account prior to 11:59p ET on the Thursday before your delivery week, your credit card will NOT be charged. To keep it real simple, you can manage deliveries for up to 8 weeks at time.
How thoughtful you are. Of course you can! To gift our meals to someone else, all you need to do is select a meal plan, and start an account. Just be sure to enter your gift recipient’s delivery address. You will be selecting their meals for them as you build their first order. If you intend to gift only a certain number of weeks’-worth of meals, be sure to log back into the RealEats account to skip weeks, pause or cancel the subscription once those first meals are delivered. Your delivery box will contain the exact meals and the number of meals (as well as any add-on items) you selected for that week. It will also contain a paper insert with the best-by date for your meals. Our meals come in individual, vacuum-sealed Fresh Packs™ (designed to lock in flavor and freshness) packaged together with a cardboard bellyband. The food items are shipped in an insulated box with frozen gel packs included to ensure food stays cold and fresh during transit from our kitchen to your door.
Your zip code determines the day you’ll receive your weekly delivery (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday). Once you complete your first order, look for an email confirmation from us with trackable delivery information. (And if you don’t get one right away, be sure to check your Spam folder.) In some regions, you’ll have the option to choose from different delivery days. If yours isn’t one of those regions yet, don’t fret. We’ll be adding more soon!
Great question. Your food will arrive fresh and should be placed into your refrigerator as soon as you receive your box. If for any reason, the ice packs have fully melted and the Fresh Packs™ do not feel cold to the touch, please take a photo of the gel packs and food and send it with your order number to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll take care of you from there!
Most of the time, your package will arrive as planned, but it does happen that a carrier may not make it on time. We will notify you by email in advance if it appears your package will be late. Please also be sure to check your spam folder if your food has not arrived on time. And you can always contact us at email@example.com or 855-695-6387.
You will receive an email with your tracking info when your package is scanned for departure from our kitchen on Monday. Please double-check your order to ensure the delivery address is correct. You can also locate your tracking number on your account page above your active order. We do our best to get your box there as scheduled, but sometimes the shipper experiences delays. We track all of our shipments and try to notify you if we anticipate any type of delay.
To cancel your account once you’re signed in, click My Dashboard, select My Account, then Manage Plan, click More Options, and Cancel Plan. If you intend to cancel before the following week’s delivery, please be sure to do so before 11:59p ET on Thursday before the order processes. You are also able to turn the next 8 weeks of deliveries “off” if you just need a little break.
Absolutely! Simply log into your account, then select your new meal plan, and continue to checkout. Make sure to double-check that all your information is still accurate. If you’re having any difficulty reactivating, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will receive an email reminder to select meals for the following week each Wednesday. If you would like to turn delivery off, please do so before Thursday at 11:59p ET. Please make any meal selection changes before that same cut-off time. If you’d like to receive the same meals as your last order, there’s nothing more to do. Delivery days depend on your location. You will be able to see your delivery date when you check out for the first time, and you can always find or change it for future orders on your account page.
You will be able to see future orders for the next eight weeks on your account page. Simply click on the week you would like to change, and click Edit this Week’s Delivery (the blue bar on the bottom right). You can choose new meals, customize meals, and select add-ons for any future week. Please make sure to update your meal choices before 11:59p ET on Thursdays to ensure that they take effect for the following week.
Once you’re logged in to your account, you will see up to 8 future delivery weeks in the My Orders section. If you’d like to skip a week, simply toggle the button next to the delivery week to “off.” If you change your mind and want to unskip a week, you can toggle the button back to “on” to select delivery again for the week. Just be sure to make your final changes before Thursday at 11:59p ET for the following week’s delivery and you’re all set!
You are in charge. We won’t ship you meals if you have turned your delivery week “off” before 11:59p ET on Thursdays for the following week. You can also make meal selections and skip up to 8 weeks of deliveries at a time right from your account page.
You can turn off up to 8 future delivery weeks in the My Orders section of your account by toggling the button next to each delivery week to “off.”
If you’d like to cancel your account entirely, click My Dashboard, select My Account, then Manage Plan, click More Options, and Cancel Plan. If you intend to cancel before the following week’s delivery, please be sure to do so before 11:59p ET on Thursday before the order processes.
